DESCRIPTION:Canada faces Germany on “Grey Cup Morning” in Bochum Vancouver & Düsseldorf – Canada will travel to Germany this fall to conclude the inaugural\nGridiron Nations Championship (GNC) on November 16\, 2025\, at Lohrheidestadion\,\nWattenscheid in Bochum\, Germany.\nThe Gridiron Nations Championship is an international men’s tackle football competition\,\ndeveloped by participating national teams for world competition. Inspired by the formats of\nrugby’s Six Nations and Four Nations competitions\, the GNC brings together elite national\nteams for an annual showcase of high-level intercontinental gridiron football. The inaugural\nedition features Canada\, Italy\, and Germany in a three-team round-robin format spanning\nfrom April to November 2025.\nThe winner of the GNC will be determined by overall round-robin record\, with the November\nfixture in Germany serving as the potential title decider. If all three teams finish with one win\nand one loss\, tiebreakers will be applied based on point differential.\nOn April 19\, Canada shut out Italy 56–0 in Cagliari\, Sardinia\, where True North dominated in\nevery aspect of the game. Canada’s suffocating defence held Italy to –9 total yards\, while the\noffense exploded for multiple scores. With a roster composed of CFL alumni and U Sports\nveterans\, Team Canada showed its readiness to re-enter global competition after more than\na decade of dormancy.

DESCRIPTION:Nach dem schwierigen Auftakt dieser Europameisterschaft mit einer 7:21 Niederlage in Finnland brennen die deutschen Frauen darauf\, es dieses Mal besser zu machen. Am Sonntag\, den 31. August 2025 kommt es im Sportpark Pennenfeld in Bonn zum heiß erwarteten Länderspiel zwischen der deutschen Frauen-Tackle-Nationalmannschaft und Spanien. Der Kickoff ist am Sonntag bereits um 11:45 Uhr. \nDieses Spiel gegen die amtierenden Europameister aus Spanien ist mehr als ein Länderspiel. Nach der knappen 6:8 Niederlage in Spanien bei der letzten EM ist die Motivation besonders hoch\, sich diesmal im eigenen Land den Sieg zu sichern.
