Why we do that?
Let’s face the facts: You won’t get rich from “American Football in Europe”. It’s still a niche here. But what you can get: publications, at least some money, access to games, fun and teamwork … AND we can get in position for the day it’s changing. JUST BE PART OF IT!
What happened?
In the past some of us realized that in other agencies you face elbows and nepotism all the time. We experienced events not even being set on commission but getting assigned directly. Everyone was just trying to get the “top sellers”. That killed our fun.
Some of the other photographers in other agencies don’t even tell you their workflows and “secrets” just to keep their “advantage”! How should you bring your passion in your work when you are working like that?
WE CHANGED!
We got part of Foot Bowl and found our fun again. We enjoyed what we did. Thry used our material for their “Newszone” and other channels. But .. we were missing the “real” publications. So why don’t we just open an agency with all the photographers on board?
Back to the vision
If we do it the same we as the others, we don’t have any positive effect and will fall back. The only difference would have been, that we are the ones who do the same mistakes. but that’s not the way how we are thinking.
How to get there?
To get rid of the envy, elbows, nepotism and all the other negative effect, we pull out the financial challenge and launch our agency on teamwork, solidarity, equal shares and transparency.
